AMP S6E83: Riding Tandem - Alison England
I like to listen to other adoption podcasts, and many of those recommendations have come from you guys! So when I heard my guest today speaking on another show, I knew that you guys had to hear from her and that I had to talk to her.
Alison England’s story was born out of a tangible lesson that Jesus taught her on a vacation. The illustration that He handed her was so powerful, that she knew she had to write a whole book about it for US.
Alison’s book Tandem is just one of the ways that she educates and supports adoptive moms, and I am so thrilled that I got to talk to her about them all!
Alison England is a licensed social worker and professor at Arizona State University. She is the author of Tandem, a book she wrote after adopting her youngest daughter. She has been married for 23 years and was a military wife for 21 of them. She and her family now live in Phoenix, Arizona.
Are we in a committed relationship? And by that, I mean, are you subscribed to AMP in all the places? If not, I would just love it if you would take the next step and hit the subscribe button wherever you like to listen. Including Youtube, Stitcher, Spotify, Overcast, Apple Podcasts, or wherever else you like to listen. I mean, you can even subscribe on this webpage if you’re the type that likes to listen on a web browser. Let’s take our relationship to the next level, you guys.
